What Type of Medical Treatment do you Provide?
We specialize in fast and effective physician care, for most non-life threatening conditions due illness or injury, as well as preventive care, travel medicine, allergy testing, and employers services. We bridge the gap between a primary care physician and the ER, providing extended hours, seven days a week, with CLIA certified labs, digital x-ray, splints & braces, vaccines, prescriptions & some non-narcotic medications. For a full list of services, see our Services Page >
However, if you have a life-threatening condition or emergency, you should always call 911 and seek a hospital ER.
Do patients need an appointment? What is the wait time?
We offer appointments as a convenience, and we also operate on a walk-in basis. You can always phone our front desk to find out if there is a wait time, or to reserve an appointment.
Do you take insurance? What if a patient is un-insured?
We welcome both insured and uninsured (self-pay) patients. For insured patients, we are in-network with most major Washington State insurers, and we accept many other insurance plans as well. Self-pay patients discuss the cost of the visit and treatment options as they go, so there are no surprises. For pricing information, see below. See our Insurance Page >
How much is a typical visit?
For insured patients, we collect your deductible and/or your co-pay at the time of service, and then bill your insurer for you. After your insurer sends an EOB (explanation of benefits) to us, Doctors Express will bill you for any balance still due.
For self-pay patients, a basic physician visit is $99. Our staff will discuss any other recommended other treatment or services, (such as an x-ray or a lab test) with you before they occur, so there are no surprises. Self-pay patients settle the bill at the end of the visit, and a 20% discount is applied. Prices may vary slightly by location. See our Self-Pay Prices Page >
Do you treat all ages?
We treat ages 6 months and older.
What if someone doesn’t speak English?
We have access to interpreters for non-English speaking patients.
