Meet Our Team
Dr. Jeffrey Zacher
Our Lead Provider, Dr. Jeffrey Zacher, holds his M.D. degree and is Board Certified. He graduated from the University of South Dakota School of Medicine in 1987 and successfully completed his residency with Northwestern University-St. Joseph Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program. He has gained over twenty years of experience in Family Practice, Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine.
His interest in Urgent Care and Family Practice started early in his medical training and residency. This training and residency (not to mention the raising of four children) formed a strong foundation for urgent care and family medicine with added concentration in occupational health, immigration and sports physicals. The diversity of patients and diagnosis as well as the need to fill a void in medical care between what is treated by primary care providers and emergency departments in the community has fueled his enthusiasm and excitement for Doctors Express in Phoenix.
He currently holds Board Certification in Family Medicine from the American Academy of Family Providers, Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Certifications. He has been a longstanding twenty-five year member of the American Academy of Family Providers.
His operating principle: To treat every patient as he would expect one of his own family members to be treated.
